From: Les Armstrong, Candidate for Greene County Legislature Date: Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 12:00 PM Subject: Durham's High Taxes and Wasteful, Greedy Spending
Dear Friends,
I spent all of yesterday out among the people of the Town of Durham, hearing firsthand about the concerns our community has and sharing Open & Transparent Government information that is critically important to our community.
It
was pouring rain, and first of all I'd like to thank all those who
offered me a hot cup of coffee and a dry towel for their hospitality. Thank you! It was a great day, and I'm looking forward to many more just like it!
And as promised, I'm sending out an update now on the information that was shared about the HIGH TAXES and WASTEFUL, GREEDY spending in the Town of Durham.
People I talked with yesterday were shocked when they saw the numbers in black and white. In
the coming days, I'll be sharing more with you about what people are
saying and what we -- as a community -- can do to turn things around
for Durham.
In the meantime, if you would like additional copies of the flier, please visit my website:
